Both of these are located in the Cultural Centre on South Bank. Go to the new architectural feat-the Powerhouse and watch a performance by the Queensland Ballet, Opera or Orchestra, have a look at art galleries and dine out at this superb sprawling space. Brisbane is also home to many cultural institutions such as Customs House, the Old Mill, the Commissariat Store and the Brisbane City Hall. Kayak around Islands and toboggan down the world’s tallest sand dunes
